"It's Alma's first day at school and she is filled with anxiety and fright. She has many worries like "Will I make friends?" and "What will my new teacher be like?" When Alma finds herself in anxiety's brace, she pulls out her worry stone and finds her brave face!

Putting vocabulary into action! Mrs. Teague and Mrs. Schartner’s 2nd grade classes have been learning about heroes like Jackie Robinson. Today, they showed exactly what it means to be a "teammate" with a super fun, combined class game of kickball! Such a great way to blend learning, teamwork, and a gorgeous sunny day!

Who knew practicing cursive could be this fun?! Mrs. Teague’s 2nd graders earned a special shaving cream celebration for their stellar behavior! The class had a blast getting a little messy with their handwriting practice, and showed fantastic teamwork working together to clean it all up. Way to go, 2nd grade!
