Mrs. Diaz-Tegen has been hatching baby chicks for many years! This year one of our amazing assistants got to relive her 2nd grade chick hatching experience. So sweet!

Putting vocabulary into action! Mrs. Teague and Mrs. Schartner’s 2nd grade classes have been learning about heroes like Jackie Robinson. Today, they showed exactly what it means to be a "teammate" with a super fun, combined class game of kickball! Such a great way to blend learning, teamwork, and a gorgeous sunny day!

Who knew practicing cursive could be this fun?! Mrs. Teague’s 2nd graders earned a special shaving cream celebration for their stellar behavior! The class had a blast getting a little messy with their handwriting practice, and showed fantastic teamwork working together to clean it all up. Way to go, 2nd grade!
